OUR STORY

We’re a Christian fellowship for college students as a part of Acts2 Network. College is a life-changing season for all of us, and for some of us at Journey, it was a time where we encountered Jesus deeply through God’s word and biblical community. And now, we invite other students to experience the same thing.

At Journey College, you’ll find students from all backgrounds—whether you’ve grown up in church or are just exploring faith. Our mission is to help students grow spiritually and form meaningful relationships. Hope you will join us for our bible studies and weekly events!

Meet the Leads

Hi! We’re Josh & Deb, and we lead Journey College at U of I. We love doing life with college students!

We came to faith back when we were students at UC Berkeley, and it completely changed our lives. Ever since, we’ve been all about helping students find what we found—real faith, real community, and real purpose. We've gotten to serve at campuses in Berkeley and Santa Barbara, and now we’re excited to be here in Urbana-Champaign!

It still feels a little crazy that we’d leave sunny California—but we’re genuinely excited to be here and build something new. Our hope is that students at U of I would come to know Jesus personally and have their lives transformed like ours were in college.
